The inspector spent a full day within the setting looking at all areas of our practice. We are very pleased to announce that Playdays Daycare Nursery has been graded as Outstanding. This is the highest grade that Ofsted can award. ” Overall the quality of the provision is outstanding. Children’s unique individual needs are valued and exceptionally well met, so they make rapid progress in their learning and development. This allows children to learn in a natural environment. The adults are the facilitators and observers rather than the leaders. The children are given the opportunity to explore and connect with nature using all of their senses. We have a dedicated site at Haigh Hall where every Monday we take a group of children. The children say about Forest School, “ we like climbing under the trees” “we like to play near the broken tree”.</p> </article> <article> <h1>Holiday Club and Before and After school at Playdays</h1> <p>admin — Sun, 07 Nov 2010 13:14:01 +0000</p> <p>From July 2010 Playdays now offers Holiday Club for children between the ages of 3-11 years. We have our own mini buses and have lots of exciting adventures planned for any children spending their holidays with us. Amy Roberts runs the holiday club and is already planning tremendous trips for the six week holidays! Playdays offers Holiday Club in all half terms, the summer holidays and even Christmas week. Playdays follows Bolton’s school terms and holidays. <strong>BOOK IN NOW FOR THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS. We can be flexible with sessions to, book in for half or full days. Playdays are now running holiday club for children up to the age of 11 years</strong>. To avoid disappointment please try to book sessions in advance. Before and After school club started on 6th September 2011. We currently cater for children attending St Mary’s in Horwich and Blackrod church school. <strong>Holiday club will be available Weds 6th June- Fri 8th June 12. We are also taking bookings for the summer hols. </strong></p> </article> <article> <h1>Baby Moves at Playdays</h1> <p>admin — Thu, 04 Nov 2010 13:01:33 +0000</p> <p>“Baby Moves is an accredited sensory music and movement programme that helps babies and young children to develop their brains and bodies in a natural way” Baby moves is an award winning programme and is also linked to the EYFS. </p> <p>Playdays currently have 2 baby moves level 1 accredited practitioners, Angela and Sharon. They will be running some baby moves sessions on Saturday 23<sup>rd</sup> June 2012. These sessions are for children between the ages of 0-18 months. There are limited places available due to this the sessions will be offered on a first come first served basis. To book in please speak to Kristina or Sharon.
