Hello my name Kristina Bannister.  I have a passion for working with children and I knew I wanted to pursue a career in childcare as soon as I left school.  I studied NNEB for 1 year and was offered a fulltime position in which i completed an NVQ Level 3 In Childcare.  I have been working at Playdays since we opened in 2004.  I was originally employed as a nursery nurse and, after a year, I was promoted to room leader within the Babyroom.  I was then promoted to the position of deputy manager and,  from Feb 2010, I took over as nursery manager.  I have recently completed a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies.  I hope to have completed a BA Honours Degree in Childcare in 2011 and it is my ambition to go on and become the Early Years Professional at Playdays.  Playdays is a major part of my life and it feels like my home from home, it has been fantastic to see the nursery grow and develop over the last 7 years.
